As the first families begin moving into Landmark by Hillwood, Denton ISD has secured the future site of the first elementary school within the 3,200-acre mixed-use development. The announcement comes as Denton ISD continues preparing for significant enrollment growth. Demographic projections indicate the district is expected to add more than 5,000 students by the 2034-35 school year, bringing total enrollment to nearly 38,500 students. The 12-acre site is the first of three planned Denton ISD school sites within Landmark, including two elementary schools and one middle school.
